My Passion for Skin Care
My father and mother owned beauty salons of their own when I was growing up. After spending most of my young life in their salons, I knew that I would own my own someday.
When I was just 12 years old, I started making skin care products from fresh fruits and vegetables. My family and friends loved the different combinations I created. My interest in the skin continued with my research on plants, "essential oils" and their natural healing properties. Most of us forget that the skin is the largest organ of the body. While it absorbs everything, it is our protector... our barrier. If our skin isn't healthy, what we put on it is just as important as what we put in our body.
I have discovered the healing powers of the "essential oils" of plants and herbs from a personal experience which has led me to the creation of my own skin care line. When I was 15, I witnessed my mother going from a very ill, bed-ridden individual to the vibrant person she was before the diagnosis of a fatal disease. A few months later, my mom was given one year to live. The doctors gave no hope for her recovery. But through her family's persistence, she started a holistic regimen of "essential oils" and herbal products. After only one month, she was feeling wonderful as if the illness never happened. To this day, my mom cannot be without her herbs and essential oils or she will get very ill and severely sick again without them.
I couldn't get enough reading material about plants after that. For years, I read book after book on what herbal plants and essential oils can do for the skin and body. Then I started my journey to make my own skin care line with real live plant extracts and essential oils. It took me years of trial and error, but I now have my line perfected. It's a great feeling to help my clients have skin that is evenly toned and clear with a smooth texture while NOT making them sun sensitive. My products care for the most sensitive skin while being strong enough to create a beautiful, radiant skin tone.
